At every stage of life, we engage our members to learn. From our Blue Ribbon school to our K-8 Religious Education program, preparation for Marriage and Baptism, to opportunities for young adults and parents, we are dedicated to fostering deeper knowledge of God and self as we grow.
Love
Our mission is fulfilled when we enter the world and in the presence of our friends, our co-workers, and especially our families, we are more capable of loving one another as we have been loved.

E-Bulletin - May 11, 2024
Dear Friend,
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers within our community. We celebrate this secular holiday as we also commemorate the final week of the Easter season with the Solemnity of the Ascension of Jesus.
Together, these celebrations remind of us of the trust and care that have been put in front of us. A mother gives all she can and sends forth her children into the world. Jesus has done the same saying, "Go out into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature."
May our thoughts, words, and actions be guided by the mindfulness we keep of the love shown to us through them.

Mother's Day Blessing All mothers are invited to receive a blessing in commemoration of Mother's Day at all the Masses this weekend. Please come up to the sanctuary at the end of Mass when instructed by the presider. Thank you for all you do as mothers and my God continue to strengthen you in your vocation.

E-Bulletin - May 4, 2024
Dear Friend,
Let us pray for the young parishioners of Saint Andrew Parish who are receiving their First Holy Communion today, Saturday, May 4.
Their faith is an inspiration to us all! The eagerness and joy they have expressed in coming to the Table of the Lord is truly contagious. May the same desire that they have shown to receive the Eucharist be mirrored in us and bring us all closer to the Lord, day by day.

Deacon Eric Update Deacon Eric Sorensen was diagnosed with ALS late last year. ALS is a progressive nervous system disease, and Eric's symptoms have progressed rapidly. His muscles have weakened to the point that he's immobile, but his sharp wit and happy smile still shine through. His deep faith and trust in the Lord is evident.
In addition to remembering Eric and his wife, Rita, in your prayers, please take a moment to write a note of encouragement. He loves receiving mail. Mail your card or note to Deacon Eric Sorensen, care of Saint Andrew Parish, 3546 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60657.
First Communion Recipients 2024 Please congratulate the children in our parish who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 4, 2024
