Start/Finish Area:

Lincoln Park Zoo area: south of South Pond, east of South Field House on Grove 2. North of LaSalle Drive, east of Stockton Drive. Click the Map below for an interactive map showing the race route. Street parking or city parking lots are available for a fee.


Post Race Party

Timing:

Time will be measured using individual chip timers available on race day.

Two Parking Options:

  • Zoo parking lot
  • Clark Street meters

Water:

Water stations will be available at two locations on the course and the finish.

Kid Corral:

There will be a ‘Kid Corral’ with children’s activities.

Awards:

At the post race ceremony, awards will be presented to:

  • Best Male and Female overall, plus free race entry for 2012 and 1 month membership to Windy City CrossFit.
  • Age Groups: 19 and under & 5 year age groups through 70+. Awards presented to the top three male and female finishers in each group

“Run Like the Wind Bulldogs”

Mission:

The 3rd Annual Running of the Bulldogs 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run event is devoted to help improve the health and safety of Saint Andrew students and community through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. Proceeds will help fund:

Global: Health and family programs for the students at our sister parish, Saint Andrew Kaggwa Kibbyayi – Uganda

School: The purchase of health programs and sports equipment for the students at Saint Andrew School.

Community: Free blood pressure testing at Parish Rectory on specially scheduled dates.

Gym Shoe Drive collecting shoes for soles4souls.org supporting micro-business efforts to eradicate poverty.
