Sacramental Preparation

Baptism

Baptismal Preparation classes are held at 1:00 pm on the last Sunday of each month in the Chapel. The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 1:00 pm in the Church. Please call the Parish Office for more information.

Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation

Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation, First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation occurs during classes for students enrolled in Saint Andrew School and during classes for students enrolled in the Sunday Religious Education Program.

Reconciliation and First Eucharist is celebrated in the spring of 2nd grade. Children wishing to receive Holy Communion in second grade are usually expected to be in formal religious instruction during 1st grade as well.

Confirmation Preparation begins in the 8th grade and continues through May of the same year. Every candidate for Confirmation is expected to participate in the scheduled classes, retreats and prayer services. All candidates must also complete the designated number of service projects before Confirmation.

Marriage

Marriage Preparation must be completed with Fr. Sergio. Any questions regarding marriage preparation or scheduling a wedding should be directed to Fr. Sergio at 773-525-3016.
