Extended Day and Food Service

Saint Andrew School offers extended day care for students in Grades K through 5 after school until 6 p.m. on all regular school days. Staffed by certified teachers, the program offers outdoor games and supervised recreation, arts and crafts, homework guidance and a nutritional snack. Arrangements for attendance and fees are made in advance with a registration form and paid registration fee. Occasional single day arrangements may be accommodated if notified 24 hours in advance, and all emergency forms are on file. Saint Andrew School participates in the Archdiocesan Breakfast Program. Students may order breakfast on a monthly basis. Breakfasts are served from 7:30 AM - 7:50 AM in the gym balcony. More information can be requested in the school office.

Saint Andrew School participates in the Archdiocesan Hot Lunch Program. Students may order their lunches through this program or bring them from home. Orders for milk alone will also be accepted on a monthly basis. Applications for Archdiocesan lunches, on a free or reduced basis, will be sent home at the beginning of the school year. Those students, who do not participate in the hot lunch program, should bring a nutritious lunch from home. Fast food lunches may NOT be brought to school. For nutritional purposes, we encourage you to please purchase a carton of milk for your child’s lunch or send a juice box. A forty (40) minute lunch/recess period is provided on each full day of school. Parents are not allowed in the lunchroom without a visitor’s pass.

Breakfast & lunch order forms are sent home the first week of each month and must be returned by the 2nd Tuesday of the month. No late orders will be accepted.
