The current Spanish Language program is conducted through a contract with Spanish Studio, Inc.

Kindergarten – Grade 5 students begin with two Spanish sessions a week and continue with one session per week in middle school.  Students are expected to learn primary vocabulary needed around the school and the home, including common nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs. The basics of question and answer dialogue, the familial relationships, and the important grammatical functions. Students are encouraged to learn through oral and written practice both in the classroom and through homework. A variety of learning techniques are used to encourage fluency and comfort.
