Volunteers
The parents/guardians of each family are required to complete 10 hours of volunteer service A complete list of volunteer activities are given out at the beginning of the school year. Parents who fail to fulfill this responsibility will be charged an additional $100.00. Consistent volunteers will be asked to fill out an Application for Volunteer Service (Form 7703F) as required by the Archdiocese of Chicago, submit to an on-line background check, and participate in an Archdiocesan Virtus Training.
School Visits
Any visitors to the school, including parents/guardians, are required to obtain a Visitor’s Pass and to sign in and out at the school office. Parents are only allowed into the classroom if they have checked-in at the office.
Classroom Visits
Parents/guardians are welcome to visit a classroom and observe their child in the school setting. Arrangements for the visit should be made prior to the visit with the principal or assistant principal and teacher.
Special Events
Parents/guardians are invited and welcomed to attend any school special event. Notification of events is made in the Parent Memo, Parish Bulletin, the monthly calendar or a special announcement sent home with your child.
