Catholic Schools Week 2016

Catholic Schools Week 2016

January 31 – February 6

Catholic Schools Week starts on Sunday, January 31, 2016. We start our celebration by having a Family Mass followed by a pancake breakfast in the gymnasium. You can purchase tickets for the breakfast and the entire event we call Super School Sunday through this link If you haven’t had a chance to see how great our school is, there will be tours after the breakfast and families will be able to start the registration process for attending St. Andrew School next year.

The Chairman of the Board of the National Catholic Education Association is Bishop Murry. He leads us in a prayer for Catholic Schools in the following video.

What is so special about Catholic Schools?

There are 6,568 Catholic school across America. Over 1/3rd of these schools have a waiting list because of the demand to attend a Catholic School. Overall in schools across the nation, the student/teacher ratio is 13-1. Overall there are 1,939,574 students enrolled in Catholic Schools across the country.

And we are extremely proud of St. Andrew Catholic School, built around our core principles of SPRIT STUDY AND SERVICE.

Our goal is simple. We want each student to experience success. Success builds confidence. While our goal is simple, our objectives require patience, planning and teamwork. Our curriculum is differentiated to service a variety of learning styles. We work to develop challenges for each student that are ‘just right’ to build upon student learning and keep expectations high.

Saint Andrew has been educating children for over 100 years. We are proud of our success. Our students have consistently scored in the top 15% of the nation’s best Catholic schools on Terra Nova tests the last 5 years and of course we are a 2013 National Blue Ribbon School. IF you haven’t visited before, check out our school website now at We proud of our success, but more excited for our future!
