Student Expectations

Sunday Mass
Sunday Mass is celebrated every Sunday at Saint Andrew Church. The all-school Family Mass is usually celebrated on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 10am. Family attendance at Mass helps to solidify the lessons taught in the classroom throughout the week.

Student Life
The teachings and the example of our Lord, Jesus Christ, are the foundation for student behavior. Saint Andrew School believes that a partnership between parents and teachers is essential for a quality education to exist. Parents who are actively involved in their children’s school activities, and who continually reinforce Christian values, raise children who are more responsible for their learning and their behavior as they become adults. Responsibility and good behavior are required for learning. Self-discipline and self confidence are qualities that will aid a student toward achieving his/her goals. Saint Andrew School strives to instill in each student a confident self image. Student life is structured to ensure that all students experience success. Mutual respect among students, teachers, and parents is expected.

Think Act Rise Above
Think Act Rise Above is an anti-bullying/citizenship campaign with a foundation in Christian teachings that reminds students to think before acting, choose a positive action, and rise above problems and issues that can destroy friendships, lead to hurt feelings and misunderstandings. TARA promotes social/emotional learning to prepare our students for challenges at school, at home and in the community.

Think Act Rise Above Peacemakers Pledge
We believe that all students should enjoy Saint Andrew School equally. We will work to help create a school where students feel safe, secure and accepted by classmates regardless of race, gender, popularity, athletic ability, intelligence or nationality. We will think, act and rise above.
