What Good Athletes Can Teach Us About Being Good Christians

Wednesday, July 30th at 7pm presented by Sr. Stephanie Baliga

Sr Stephanie Baliga

What can good athletes teach us about becoming good Christians? St. Paul certainly thought that it could teach us something! Virtues exemplified in excellent athletes parallel the virtues we all need to be good Christians. Sr. Stephanie will use concrete examples from her athletic experience to help us better understand virtues such as perseverance, focus, and strength. Additionally, she will explore how sports teams help us understand the essential aspects of Catholic social teaching.
