Drew’s Dollars FAQs

Q: What is Drew’s Dollars?
A: Drew’s Dollars is a gift card/cash card program that allows Saint Andrew to earn a pre-determined percentage.
Q: How does the program raise money for Saint Andrew Parish?
A: In partnership with Great Lakes Scrip Center, local and national retailers agree to sell their gift cards to our organization at a discounted price. Saint Andrew then sells the gift cards/cash cards at full face value.
Q: Which retailers participate in Drew’s Dollars?
A: Nearly 650 retailers participate in the program. Current vendors include Target, Jewel, Dominick’s, Starbucks, Home Depot, CVS, Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, Kohl’s, and many, many more.
Q: Why buy Drew’s Dollars?
A: Pre-determined percentages go directly back to Saint Andrew for every card purchased. It’s a simple way to put the dollars you spend everyday for household expenses to work. All profits from Drew’s Dollars sales benefit Saint Andrew.
Q: When can I purchase Drew’s Dollars?
A: Starting in early 2011, you can begin ordering your gift cards/cash cards. Order forms are available at the school office, the rectory and on the Saint Andrew website. Simply download the list from the website and fill out and turn into the school office or rectory.
Q: Can I use a credit card to purchase Drew’s Dollars?
A: No. Due to the various transaction fees that credit card companies charge, we do not accept credit cards as a form of payment for Drew’s Dollars. Cash and checks, payable to Saint Andrew, are both acceptable forms of payment.
Q: How will Drew’s Dollars orders be filled and delivered?
A: Volunteers are available to receive gift card/cash card orders at the school office or rectory on Monday morning’s between the hours of 8-8:30am. Orders may also be dropped off at the rectory after mass times during the weekend as well. Orders need to be complete and payment (cash and checks only please) received at that time. Orders will be available for pick on Thursday anytime during normal business hours at either the school office or rectory based on your designated location per your order form.
Q: I have additional questions. Who can I contact?
A: Contact the program coordinator, Julie Richards at or 773-525-3016.
